Balin Schneider is a filmmaker and journalist based in Los Angeles. His debut feature film, Out of Time: The Material Issue Story played in theaters nationwide and is now available on Prime Video and Tubi. He's a longtime producer and writer, reporting on foreign affairs, youth culture, and public education. He won a KAB Award for an interview with Sec. of State Mike Pompeo. He has his Master's of Arts in Specialized Journalism from USC where he trained in EU reporting with the European External Action Service. His latest film was shot in Armenia about a teenager who was displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, an ethnically Armenian enclave in Azerbaijan. He is the founder of arvonia films, a documentary studio focused on journalistic cinema. He has worked on film and video projects with members of Panic! At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, Ed Sheeran, The Academy Is..., Weezer and BLACKPINK.
